ALL MOUNTAIN SKILLS PROGRAM
The All Mountain Skills (AMS) program is for members 11- 16 years of age who are looking to continue to develop their skiing skills in a fun non competitive team environment. Athletes in the AMS program are in different stages of the long term skier development module (AIM2) but they all have one thing I common, they have decided that the competitive programs are not for them. At the Mount Washington Ski Club we seek to give the all mountain skills group an exciting non competitive program that develops their skiing skills in all conditions and in all areas of the mountain. This group will ski on groomed runs, in gates, in bumps and steeps and as a result they will become better skiers and gain greater knowledge of the mountain and safety. This program seeks to develop skiing and life skills in a fun, encouraging, safe environment. The program is designed and delivered by professional coaches following the guidelines of the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation and Alpine Canada.
